Camp Leopard is a safari experience company that happens to have tents. We don't sell rooms — we sell curated itineraries that include your accommodation, all meals, guided safaris with expert private rangers, and experiences that connect you to Yala in a way no hotel or OTA booking ever could.

What makes us different

• We sell itineraries, not rooms. When you book through an OTA, you get a room and breakfast. When you book directly with us, you get a complete safari experience — timed to the wildlife, planned to the last detail, guided by experts.
• 99.9% leopard sighting rate. Not a marketing claim. Our rangers have tracked Yala's leopards since 2016 and know individual animals by their rosette patterns.
• 4 park blocks, not just Block 1. Most operators access only Block 1 through the crowded Palatupana gate. We access Blocks 1, 3, 5, and 6 through multiple gates — fewer crowds, better encounters.
• Private safari rangers. Not freelancers hired for the day. Our rangers — Marc, John, Shermal, Marlon — are specialists who have spent years tracking Yala's wildlife.
• Full board included. All meals — from arrival lunch to departure breakfast — are included in every package. Our chef Chaminda is consistently rated the best food experience in the Yala region.
• 5 tents, 1 cabin. Maximum 12 guests. This is not a resort. It is a small, intimate camp at the edge of the wilderness. You will never share your safari vehicle with strangers.
• Community-based. Every person who works here is from the surrounding villages. Every meal uses local ingredients. Every jeep is locally owned. Your money stays in this community.
• Pet friendly. Your dog is as welcome here as you are. We have five rescued dogs of our own.
• It's like a homestay in the jungle. Our guests say it themselves — this is not a transactional hotel experience. It's personal. It's warm. It's real.
