A Safari Your Children Will Actually Remember

Most family holidays blur together. A pool, a buffet, a kids' club with a bored teenager supervising craft projects. Camp Leopard is different. This is a real safari camp at the edge of Yala National Park, where elephants cross the access road, leopards are tracked by expert rangers, and dinner is served beside a campfire under more stars than your children have ever seen.

We host families every week. Our Rajah family tent sleeps four. Our Junior Ranger Programme gives children a structured way to engage with the wildlife. And our kitchen adjusts every meal to your family's preferences and dietary needs. Children under 6 eat free. Children 6 to 12 receive a 50% discount. Teenagers 13 to 19 are charged at 75% of the adult rate.

Family Packages

Yala Swift — $185 per person

1 Night, 1 Safari

The quickest family-friendly introduction to Yala. Arrive at midday, settle in, explore camp. Evening campfire dinner. Dawn safari the next morning with packed breakfast in the jeep. Return for brunch and checkout.

Yala Wanderlust — $205 per person

1 Night, 2 Safaris

The same as Yala Swift, but with an additional dusk safari on the afternoon of arrival. Two safari drives give your children twice the exposure to wildlife and double the chances of a big sighting.

• 2 safari drives: dusk (Day 1) + dawn (Day 2)

Yala Wild Family — $355 per person

2 Nights, 2 Safaris, Junior Ranger Programme

Our most popular family package. Two nights gives your family time to settle into camp rhythm. The Junior Ranger Programme runs throughout the stay, giving children aged 5 to 14 a structured field guide, tracking cards, wildlife checklists, and a certificate on completion.

Child and Teen Discounts

• Children under 6: Free (meals and accommodation included, no separate bed)
• Children 6 to 12: 50% off the adult rate

Park entrance fees for children are lower than adult fees. We will provide the current fee schedule when you book.
